But what she did was extraordinary. She endured tremendous physical abuse her entire life, yet she lived a life devoted to God and her neighbor, despite what happened to her. Ask St. Germaine to watch over all children who suffer abuse of any kind, and for the courage to speak out against abuse when we see it.
