ReplyDeleteMy son, Andrew has difficulty in choosing good girls of character to date. He has made several choices which have caused us great concern as parents. Eventually, he figures it out, but it takes a great deal of time and causes agony for everyone, most of all for him. Everyone around him, friends and family,see the danger from the start, but it takes him a long time to see it for himself. Please pray for the discernment to see the situation before him. He is a good son and brother and we want very much for him to find a warm, lovely girl for him to spend the rest of his life with. Please help us pray for guidance from St. Monica.
ReplyDeleteI too have a son who goes all out to find one problematic lifestyle after another, and he is never content. I will pray for Andrew's salvation for I understand the hurt and the pain a parent endures.

I lift my son Jonathan up in prayer, who is also struggling with problems caused by his alcohol abuse. I too feel the pain St. Monica felt when her wayward son continued on the wrong path. Please intercede to Christ for his salvation, that he find his faith and seek God for his problems as he needs a miracle of conversion. I beg this in Jesus' name, Amen.
ReplyDeletePlease pray for a group of Catholic teens who are making choices which will limit their futures. These teens are in college. They are using and selling drugs. Please pray that they come to the realization that this is not the way to make money. This is not the way to be happy. This is not the way to live. Please pray that they turn to Jesus when they are down instead of the drugs. Thank you.

Please pray all my grandchildren receive the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation. Their parents are not doing anything to enroll them in preparation classes. And when the enemy gets hold of them that way, he can cause them to fall away from what God had intended for them in His Kingdom. I will continue to pray for her salvation, and the multiple damages the family had to endure. God Is Awesome.
DeletePlease pray for a resolution of a sale of our house so that we may be able to move out of Illinois to North Carolina to help my Brother John who is disabled though an accident in which he was hit by a drunk driver, years ago. By God's grace - he survived the accident (He tells of angels carrying him and telling him right before he landed on the road after being ejected to "put (his) your arms up, NOW John!" - the only part of his body that was not broken were his head and his spine - to this day he has survived over 50 operations, returned to work and raised two wonderful boys all on his own. He will be needing some oversight in the future and this is why I ask to be released from my current home to be close to him. I also ask for provision of a job - I am a social services worker though I would like to re-enter the business field after years of social service. Thank you so much for your prayer - I am very thankful as I know how powerful prayer is. I will also pray for you. Thank you!

DeleteMy husband, GAC, and I, NSJC, have been married since 12/17/11. He has said it cant work, we are too different- we see life differently. I deserve someone better, who will treat me the way I deserve to be treated. We lost our home and were supposed to stay with his sister. My daughter and I have been here for 8 days and he still has not slept over. The first night he said he slept in our old apartment and I dont know where he sleeps after that. I feel so embarrased in this whole situation and hurt. I pray for God's intervention- touch my husbands heart, soul, body and mind. Let us grow in faith together, in hope together, in unity together, in strength together and Father I pray for restoration - that my husband will be the son of God; husband; father and true friend that you intended him to be. That I will be the woman of God,wife, mother and true friend that you intended me to be. Father re-unite us and remove whatever and whoever is causing this division and/or separation. Please send Your ministering and warring angels around us and keep u out of the hands of the enemy; his traps, snears, tricks and deception. ReplyDeleteGod has blessed me with two beautiful children. Even when their father left us twenty-one years ago, I felt as though I was privileged by God to raise them in a godly manner, away from all earthly abuse.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter, being the oldest and having had not much of a relationship with her father, wasn't at all affected by his departure. Her life continued to flourish and give good results. The inevitable divorce had freed her of all possible long term damage. To this day, she has what I would consider a healthy but limited relationship with her father.
My son Tony however, was idolizing his dad at the time. He ended up feeling responsible for quite sometime. All of my attempts to counsel him against such feelings had very little effect on him. He eventually interpreted the whole event as if he was not important, or even worthy enough to be loved. He is still tormented with those unnecessary thought patterns. God has been good to him, yet he is not able to see any of it as blessings from God. Nothing is ever enough. He longs for the next highest measure in everything that he does, whether it be finances or love triangles he comes up with. He often says, "my mother didn't raise me to be like this..." Yet he continues to create circumstances where he ends up having to start over. He's turned away many good ladies he should've been honored to have in his life, only because he can't possibly be convinced that someone could genuinely love him. He even doubts my love for him at times. I tried to help him understand God's love for him. Even that didn't help!!! My tearful prayers and perseverance alone aren't enough to help him. I need an army of God's people to fight back what the enemy left behind: a spirit of anger, a spirit of constant wrongdoing, a spirit of complaint, and so on and so forth. And I cannot divorce this one. God, the ultimate father, didn't ever give up on any of his children, including me. I cannot turn my back to my son. Please pray with me for his salvation. Alis

ReplyDeleteMy son Alex is having difficulty making friends since we moved two years ago. He is intelligent, talented, but shy. There are no people in his age group in our neighborhood and the school he goes to, while he speaks with people and participates in clubs, no one seems to reciprocate with his offers of friendship. He was ready for the move, he even welcomed it, but he dislikes our new place of residence mostly because of the friendship situation. He is sixteen and spends most of his time outside school alone, except when he goes to visit his old neighborhood which is forty miles away. I have been praying to St.Monica for over a year and I will not give up. Please pray for him too. Thank youand God bless.

He has agreed to meet and speak with a Catholic priest to get answers about the things he doesn't agree with. It is my prayer that he will get the answers he is seeking and he will have a open heart and attitude towards Catholicism.

ReplyDeletePlease pray for my car to be fixed. I am 63 & live paycheck to paycheck. My car broke down & I was fired because I could not get to work. My car that I had in 1999, finally gave out. I bought another car with all of my savings. That car overheated & I brought it to a repair shop & they said the engine was ruined. I do not have any more money to buy a third car. My son is trying to fix the car for me. But has not been able to find out what is wrong. I now have no income coming in & my rent will be due soon. Please pray that we can find a way to fix my car, so I can find another job. I know this sounds mundane but I am 63 & am close to being homeless. Thank you for your prayers

Hello, pls pray for me and family. We are exposed to many evils, trials and sorrows often depress us..Persecution with colleagues at place of work.. Everywhere we meet the cross..please help with prayers..thanks a lot..Martine
