Caprese Salad - Semolina L'Osteria



These are my absolute favorite appetizers (sometimes I even have one or the other as a meal!).  We were blessed with the opportunity to travel to Italy a few years ago, and I have such fond memories of enjoying bruschetta and caprese salad with my family on the Piazzas in Venice and Florence. Eating these heavenly treats transports me right back...  I found that most Italian dishes are simple, but simply divine! Their secret is to use excellent olive oil, and the freshest ingredients so that all of the flavor shines through.  I hope you enjoy them!  Ciao.
